Jeremiah (we call him Jeremy) is a full size baby boy, reborn from Lee Middleton baby sculpt called Precious Little Baby by Reva Schick. This is one of my all time favorite faces by Reva. Jeremy started life as all babies here at the Azygous Nursery. I removed all of his original color and started with the newly blank canvas. He took a nice warm bubble bath to bring out those pretty baby colors.

Although I sometimes create babies from the same sculpts, they cannot be reproduced and each Azygous Kids baby is unique. If little Jeremy is crawling into your heart, please bid now, as there will not be another just like him. I am not doing special order babies at this time, so if you would like an Azygous Kid, please bid on one here on ebay.

I hand painted Jeremy. Each little fold and crease was attended to. Jeremy is a bigger baby, already trying to sit up and have conversations with his teddy bear. His cheeks turn red when he is cold or tired. Of course, he is no longer a play toy, but a collectible, heirloom, meant to last for a long time.

Sorry for the graphic intense pictures, but I found Jeremy so easy and fun to photograph. I painted wispy eyebrows on baby Jeremy. I also painted natural colored lips that have been sealed, and hand applied dark brown upper and lower eyelashes to frame those beautiful brown eyes of his. His fingernails and toenails have been tipped in off-white (so natural looking) and all were sealed with a sealer that won't yellow with time. I opened Jeremy's nose very carefully, so he could breathe.

Jeremy has a beautiful Kemper mohair wig in medium brown. I sculpted it (no scissors) to frame his face and look more like a young child who has never had that first haircut. Jeremy reminds me so much of my own boys when they were children.

Jeremy hair has been secured to his head, so it can be carefully styled.

Look, Jeremy is learning how to sit up. Very wobbly, but doing good. Jeremy has a VERY soft, new, jointed, velour-feeling, cloth body. His 1/4 limbs have been weighted with sand and sealed so they will not leak. His body has been weighted with baby fat pellets and soft, premium polyfil stuffing for cuddliness. I don't go for a lot of weight, I want these babies to FEEL good when you hold them, and feel a more "natural" weight, rather than heavy, dead weight. Jeremy can wear 0-3 month size baby clothing and some 3-6 month.

You will have to support his head when you hold him, just like a real baby. Notice his outfit? He has a darling, new MiniWorld 1 piece outfit with bears, a matching jacket, hat, and socks!

Jeremy has a very strong rare earth magnet in his head and on his pacifier. These should not be used around pacemakers or computers. Please let me know if you need this removed.

Jeremy has the mottled skin of a young child. He is such a good boy though, and rarely fusses. He is VERY poseable and cuddly.

Jeremy's Homecoming:

I will send Jeremy home to you in his darling MiniWear sleeper with the bears on it. He will also bring his beautiful matching jacket, hat and socks. Jeremy wouldn't go anywhere without his bear, and although he is old enough not to need it, he feels more comfortable with his pacifier when he is tired. He will also bring his favorite blanket (not pictured.)

He was also a used baby before being reborn, and may have marks on him because of that. Jeremy WAS born in a smoke-free nursery as all babies should be.

I feel so blessed by God to be able to create these incredibly "real" babies. I love creating them and I am anxious to share them with you. I have enjoyed real babies all my life and making these reborns seems to come naturally to me. I have been an artist for many years, painting with water colors and oils, so creating these small children is like painting on a 3D canvas. It is truly a gift from God. And, such fun!!!
